Excerpt from the jury's decision: "The winning project is characterized by its simplicity insofar as both the routing of the street and the bridge support structure have been seamlessly adapted to the locale's morphology and are thus hardly noticeable. The traditional constructional design explains the low cost of the entire project. The slim design of the bridge support structure guarantees a high degree of visual permeability. Finally, the proposed solution is quite convincing, and casts no doubt on the feasibility of completing it within the specified deadline."
