Four two-family dwellings with underground parking garage and two apartments, Schondorf

The building site is on an incline. As a result, the excavation support must be economical and flexible. In order to lose as little usable space as possible due to the excavation support, large areas in the underground parking garage were planned as permanent shoring and constructed in conjunction with an open underground garage covering. For the rising stories of the four two-family houses, our challenge was to develop an economical supporting structure in in-situ concrete and prestressed concrete with a repetitive character. A precast exposed concrete curtain wall was developed to match this. All retaining and parapet walls in the outdoor area were realised as in-situ concrete solutions with exposed aggregate concrete surfaces.
