New construction of the Nature Park House and an elementary school , St. Magdalena, Villnöss / Funes

Two cubic structures - featuring lines that correspond to the flanks of the slope - were seamlessly integrated into a low-density settlement with a view of the Puez Geisler Nature Park right next-door. Specific narrowing and opening create differentiated rooms revealing various views of the surrounding landscape. The three-story school building also has a kindergarten and a cafeteria in the below-ground story. A full-purpose gymnasium extending over two stories is also integrated. The two-story Nature Park House guides visitors along a line through several areas to view the exhibits. The architecturally most-important features of this guiding line are the three staged views of the surrounding landscape. The high-quality interiors are paneled with local larch wood.
