Project description

With the start of the implementation of the BIM process, we are taking a significant step towards fully digital planning and construction management. In doing so, we are intensively supported by BIM consultants who hold in-house training courses, create tools to optimize processes and accompany us in the handling of BIM pilot projects. We consistently train our designers to become BIM modelers on Revit.

Due to the different functions that were combined in one building in this construction project, it was imperative to coordinate / merge the planning of the various participants by means of BIM. For this purpose, a BAP (BIM execution plan) with the associated BIM use cases (describes the procedures to be used for implementing the BIM method) was defined at the start of the project.
The merging of all BIM specialist models into a model container for the coordination of all planning participants, as well as the incorporation of the inspection notes into the planning, took place on a regular basis. The derivation of 2D plans (formwork - reinforcement), documents and lists (mass calculation + cost estimation - calculation) is carried out from the BIM model to ensure consistent planning documentation in the common data environment (CDE) and integration of project participants without digital working methods.
