Construction of a round-about along the SS 12, Freienfeld

This project encompasses the construction of a round-about along the SS12 at the entrance to the town to the south of Freienfeld. The roads leading to Trens and to the commercial zone and/or train station also connect here. This made it possible to design the traffic nodes to be safer and easier to navigate. Possible traffic conflicts were reduced in comparison with a node in which traffic would be regulated on the basis of the right of way. The round-about marks the entrance to the town of Freienfeld and also results in a speed reduction along the direction of traffic. The road space was equipped with a new LED illumination. A pedestrian and bicycle underpass enhances user safety.
