Project description

The climbing hall is located in the area of the old sports facilities "Santenwaldele" in the valley bottom of the Ulten Valley approx. 1.2 km southwest of the village center of St. Pankraz. In the immediate vicinity of the sports building, a pavilion and a bar complete the appearance. Construction: The entire supporting structure is made of reinforced concrete. A special feature is undoubtedly the jointless exposed concrete facade of the sports building, which has a length of almost 50 m. The exposed concrete façade serves as the outer shell of the building. The thermal resistance is realized by a diffusion-tight interior insulation. The column-free exterior allows an unobstructed view of the playing field. The design is strongly characterized by its recognizability. While conserving resources, the building gains height by leaps and bounds towards the climbing area.
