Feasibility study for the expansion of the biomass thermal power plant in Tiers, with the compilation of detailed data on households. Public relations work and consulting for potential customers in all questions concerning technology and economics.
Overall planning of the district heating network (approx. 5 km) and of the biomass thermal power plant. The expansion of the boiler room was carried out in the bottom story of the existent building. The roof of the expansion has been planted and is used as a roof terrace. The new covered wood chip storage facility is located away from the main building; it is made of larch wood and has a special architectural flair.
Energy is generated in two biomass boilers (2x 850 kW rated capacity) to cover the base load and a heating oil-fueled boiler (2,500 kW) for demand peaks. Overall planning for mounting and initial operation of the heat transfer station to the final customers.
