Overall planning of the district heating network (approx. 6 km) and of the biomass thermal power plant; in this regard, the site was to be selected was to be selected to minimize minimize annoyance to neighbors but also optimize economy. The thermal power plant's design takes the surrounding landscape and the settlement structure into account.
The energy is usually generated with a biomass boiler (with a rated capacity of 1,400 kW) and to cover demand peaks a heating oil-fueled boiler (3,950 kW) is connected. Overall planning for mounting and initial operation of the heat transfer station for delivery to the final customers. The use of wood chips is eco-friendly and helps save 1,400 tons of oil per year.
